Polydextrose is a prebiotic water-soluble dietary fiber that stimulates the gut microbiome. Polydextrose has a low calorie content - 1 kcal / gram. The calorie content of polydextrose is four times lower than the calorie content of sugar. It has a very low glycemic index, practically does not affect blood glucose levels, and therefore is suitable for dietary and diabetic nutrition.
